Braga, are the least well known of Portugal’s regular European adventurers and they don’t create the sort of glamour tie that a visit from Benfica, Sporting Lisbon or Porto does. However, Braga are not to be underestimated having finished second in the league last season and to qualify for the group they beat Celtic 3-0 at home before losing the return leg 2-1, and then beat Seville 1-0 at home and 4-3 away.
“For us, a win on Wednesday night is vital, because I believe the group is much more difficult than people expect it to be,” said Gunners boss Arsene Wenger.
The Gunners are a best-priced 3/10 which is too short for me, while Braga are 12/1 which I just can’t see happening.
The draw is a widely available 9/2 and I shall be backing this with Arsenal missing the strike trio of Nicklas Bendtner, Theo Walcott and Robin van Persie who are all set to miss out.

OK, so I couldnt have been more wrong, having said that there are two lessons to learn here
1) Gambling Man leave his tips up for ever and of course is open to comeback when he tips a tight game and Arsenal slip 6 past the opposition
2) It actually doesnt matter how wrong you are in betting, just being wrong by a little bit loses you money and with teams like Arsenal who either roll teams over or dissapoint this will happen. The trick of course is to look out for those opportunities to take advantage because the bookies will always be too short on the home win and leave value elsewhere
