Gambling Man’s tips for using Betfair as a trading platform: Part 2

Trading is the skill of looking at the odds, making a judgment which way they will go and making money by correctly betting on this movement. Very often the trader plays the market and is following market patterns, in financial trading this is called technical analysis. It is often seen even at a crude level even in betting shops when all of the punters start to back a horse because there is a “gamble on it” and the price is [...]

First edition of Gambling Man’s Premier League ratings

As promised here is the first of Gambling Man’s ratings table. They are up to date after the 6th round of matches and were based on a starting position which reflected last year’s league position and  move the rating by taking a percentage of the oppositions start of day rating for the result and the goal supremacy. I had a great night and just wanted to say well done to Chris North and Ian Hogg who have stuck at this through thick and thin, but have now opened the best poker room in London and probably Europe [...]

The Big 3 bookies are running scared and you can get  1-4 at best but probably only for a few hundred quid and [...]
