Southwell double Thursday
MAGIC AMOUR is no world beater but is at least consistent in this selling grade. He has already notched up two victories in banded company this season and that reads very well in the context of the poor quality look to the 1.50 race.
He maybe worth doubling up with WESTPORT in the 2.20. John Gosden’s runner is fancied to turn the tables on likely favourite Airbound. They were fourth and third respectively on their racecourse debuts at Lingfield last month but Westport showed the most potential.
